Her first recording, Oru Deivam Thantha Poove, came when she was fifteen. It won a Tamil Nadu State Film Award.
Ten languages.
Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tulu and Konkani. Two and a half thousand songs.
Six Filmfare Awards in four of them.
And two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. CNN-IBN named her Indian of the Year in 2016.
